Yummy!! (don't miss my 1st giveaway!!!!)

We gave Sully rice cereal again yesterday and he loves it! Here are some pics to prove it!

The Dr. said for us to start him on it at his 4 months well baby check up but I just really don't see the point. He gets everything he needs from my milk and he has been doing so great, why fix what isn't broken, right? So for now he will get rice cereal once a week. My ideal setting would be to introduce a new veggie each month, making sure there are no allergic reactions. I am quite nervous about all this because of my food allergies and really hope Sully doesn't have them! I am so confused by this whole process! If any of you have suggestions I would love to hear them!

lake time

We are home from the lake...sad.this makes weekend #2 that we have been able to get away and be on "lake time". Last weekend we went up for the 4th to hang out with the Galt's, all 20 of them!!! Josh's aunt and dad's wife are both Galt's and their family comes up every year around this time for a reunion. This weekend was spent with josh's family and my lovely sister! Josh's brother, sister and both of their families were able to come down too! To say we had a great time is an understatement!! Sully got his very own life jacket (thank you Pop-pop and Lala) and he got to ride in a float boat for the 1st time. He loved riding in the boat and is a natural in the water!! btw, word of advice on infant life jackets.....order online!! we scrambled for one last week and found one at an unnamed box store for $80, YES $80!!! I couldn't believe it, but we bought it anyway just in case we couldn't find another one in time. Thankfully Josh's brother had one for us to borrow and then Josh's dad and his wife surprised us with one they got at one of the marinas for only $20!! So I will be heading to said box store first thing tomorrow to give them their ridiculously expensive and tiny life jacket back!!

here are some updates for our little man, who turned 5 months today:::::::he weighs 16lb8oz.....pretty sure he is saying mama....will try to uplaod a video later.....is now able to get his foot into his mouth and is very excited about it....he continues to amaze me every day and has the greatest little personality, always smiling and laughing....tried rice cereal last week and loved it.....he is so strong and will probably be sitting up on his own very soon!!!
