Etsy addiction

Y'all I forgot what it was like to look at itty bitty baby clothes! I venture on to etsy every once in a while, mostly holidays to look for cute and unique gift ideas and now spend hours going though baby items on there! One search brought me like a thousand pages and wouldn't you know I got through about 500 before realizing it was after midnight and I needed to be asleep!! I thought my eyes were going to fall out of my head!

If I had millions I would keep these women in business year round!! But unfortunately money is tight and i dont forsee million in our future so a girl can dream right? I will be learning how to use my sewing machine ASAP and try to make some of my own stuff soon. Wether I succeed or fail will be a surprise either way but I will let ya know how that goes!

Here are some things I am in love with and can hopefully learn how to make!

This one requires much more than basic sewing but I love the colors and fabric on these burp cloths!

I think this burp cloth and onesie are adorable! From what I can gather she just hand cut the letters and sewed them onto them.....seems fairly simple so this may be my 1st project

Seriously folks this has got to be one of the cutest ideas o jazz up a plain onesie ever!! I have already emailed my mom this. Idea to see if she would be up for it! Let's hope she says yes bc this is just too precious!

Last but not least, another great way to dress up a onesie! It reminds me of something nick cannon or the outkast guy may have worn when he was a baby!

If anyone out there has tried to make anything like this please let me know how it went and warn me if I am completely crazy to think I could pull something like this off!

Baby in my belly

12 weeks

20 weeks

27 weeks

Wowzers!! I have only gains 11 pounds but from the looks of the last picture I find that to sound highly untrue!! But true it is! I can definitely tell you that people come up to me all the time saying I look like I am carrying twins or that I should be due soon....to people who do this I say thanks but no thanks! I got the same comments with sully towards the end. I just really have no idea why people would ask or say things to someone without personally knowing them and even then I think it just rude. I really do love being pregnant though, well besides the horrible indigestion, having to pee every 10 minutes and having to tell sully I can't pick him up for the thousandth time. Bless his heart! He still lays on my stomach sometimes and it is getting to be uncomfortable but i can't bear to tell him he can't because he is so sweet and snugly. Maybe when he falls off my belly because it is so big he will get the idea that it won't be comfy anymore :) wish me luck on Monday as I have my glucose screening. Ugh I dread it and the bottle to sugary nastiness has been staring me down every time I open the fridge.

Big boy, holidays and a baby bump

Let me start by saying Sully is such a big boy! Sweet as ever with a little wildness and a whole lot of toddler drama! The closer we get to the big 3 the more the drama increases! I am feeling better about our drama thanks to some blogging friends going through similar issues. Seeing how they are and are not dealing with these issues makes me feel like we are not alone....so thanks mommas!!! Since my work schedule changed I have been able to spend much mor etime with Sully that I missed terribly when I was working full time. He is back at the little mdo program by our house and goes two mornings a week so he can play with friends and I can get my work done. Our new schedule is amazing and I am so blessed to have such flexibility and time with my little man.
He is still so inquisitive and loves learning and showing off his new knowledge. His memory is amazing! He remembers things from over a year ago and will recall events out of the blue. He still loves trains, planes, construction vehicles and all little boy things like getting dirty! But momma better be right there with wipes because he likes to clean up too. He is still a pretty good eater with a love for drinking water over pretty much anything else. He is constantly giving us hugs and kisses and tells us he loves us about a gazillion times a day which never gets old! He does the same for baby brother and keeps asking me to open my mouth so baby brother can come out :)
The holidays came and went in a blur! Not sure where the time went but we had a great time with family and friends. Sully was spoiled rotten as usual and was a blast this year because he loved talking about baby Jesus and Santa. Decorations and lights were very exciting and he loved taking drives to look at them. Santa thought he was very good this year and got him a big boy four wheeler that he thinks is the best thing ever. Although he continues to ask why he did not bring him the spider man bike too. So I guess we know what one of his birthday presents will be. Another favorite from santa was a fire station By kidcraft that he loves playing with. We had much of the family over for Christmas brunch then hit the road to do Christmas lunch and dinner with more family. It was busy Bbut we had a great time and sully was worn out and actually ready to go home at the end of the day.
I can't believe it is already 2013 and we are well on our way to a memorable one with baby brother arriving soon!! 3 months away from the big day and we have a name ready for our sweet little man. We are going to name him Houston Levi
and call him Levi. Houston was Josh's grandfathers name and Levi is a name we both love and has special meaning too. Josh's mom loved biblical names and her children all had names from the bible. We were back and forth between a few middle names to go with Houston and were sitting in church one Sunday morning and josh opened the bible and we saw the name Levi. We knew that was it and feel as though it was meant to be. I can't help but think our sweet Nannette helped us name her 6th grandchild!
Little Levi is doing great and this has been a pretty uneventful pregnancy thankfully. I now go to the dr every 3 weeks and go back next week for my 27 week appt where they will check platelets and do the dreaded 1 hour glucose test. We have been getting things ready for his arrival and already have the crib back up and new bedding for Levi. I have been tackling the huge collection of baby clothes Sully had and trying to go through and see what I want to keep and get rid of. Washing tiny baby clothes makes me realize yet again how quickly time goes and I wish it would just slow down. I am beginning to imagine life with 2 sweet boys and Sullys role changing from only child to big brother. Mommy guilt is creeping up and I pray that it will subside as we enter into our new life as a family of four.
I will leave you with some sweet pictures of our Sweet Sullyman.....
